Esquire Design House in Beverly Hills

Being one of the top agents in LA has its perks...I attend some pretty cool events which are normally fundraisers of some sort.

Yesterday evening, I attended an event at the Esquire Design House in Beverly Hills. Each year, Esquire Magazine sponsors the Design House and allows certain organizations to host a charity event, which, by the way, Esquire Magazine foots the bill for. Clive Davis is hosting this fund raiser, supporting children’s creativity and interest in music.

Now, we all know how important first impressions are, so I had to pick out my outfit very carefully; since there will be some heavy hitters from the Music Industry attending the affair. I didn’t want to be too light, so a dress just wouldn’t do…didn’t want to be too casual, so the LA jean and jacket look wouldn’t work. I decided to bring out my best grey flannel pant suit, by Escada, topped off with a brown Stetson brim, cheetah Prada baby doll shoes and cheetah belt, I felt it would show that I have good taste and can be both feminine, powerful and fun at the same time…and off I went.

We entered up a long private driveway to a beautifully lit and landscaped Villa with the true feeling of Tuscany, Italy…the Ultimate Bachelors pad over 17,000 square feet on a flat 360 degree view lot. Each room was designed by some of the top interior designers in LA and even though it was a compilation of 8 different designers it actually flowed nicely from room to room. The quality and attention to detail was amazing. The champagne, cocktails and hor' derves flowed all night. As visitors wondered through the rooms you could hear oohs and aahs. In addition to the traditional rooms, Master Bedroom, Living room with oversized bar the home included a Home Theatre designed by SFA designs, a Digital Lounge with all of the new music gadgets, a Game Room which they called ‘The Gaming Room’, my favorite…the Body and Soul Room and a outdoor Bar shaped like the St. Paul Girl back lit in bright lime green.

The VIP section was filled with, to name a few…Janet Jackson, looking incredible and her new Bo, Baby Face, a few rappers that I couldn’t name (sorry), Stevie Wonder who preformed a memorable concert on the grass and of course Clive Davis.

It was a wonderful event under the stars and a way to reconnect with some Industry Folks that I hadn’t seen in awhile. Oh...and when it was time to end the evening, we received the euphemist gift bag…filled with great stuff, even some very hot shades from DKNY’s new sunglass line.

You can view the Esquire 360 House at http://www.esquirehouse360.com/ where you can view the Villa via slideshow or visit http://www.esquirehouse2006.com/ and bid on auction items and memorabilia. Enjoy and Bye for now.
